spacious shower breakfast buffet cooked options

i stayed in a superior double room. the bathroom had a very spacious shower. breakfast was a buffet with additional cooked options.

The net curtains definitely needed washing. The bottoms were black with dirt.

a wonderful stay

great location king-size bed cozy lounge

the location was perfect near New Walk. The room had a king-size bed. The bathroom included toiletries. We had a delicious meal in the hotel restaurant, and i particularly recommend the steak. Drinks at the cozy lounge were pleasant.

the pillows were a little too thick for my liking.

mixed feelings about this stay

poor soundproofing old faucets

the location was acceptable, providing reasonable access to nearby attractions.

I was disappointed with my room. it felt quite dated, and i could clearly hear noises from people in the corridor. The soundproofing wasn't effective at all. the bathroom fixtures seemed old, especially the faucets. They could use some updating.

excellent location friendly staff adequate amenities tired appearance limited parking narrow road

the location was excellent for walking access to the city centre. the railway station was also close. the staff was friendly and helpful. the room was clean and had adequate amenities.

the hotel looked tired in places. it could do with some tlc to enhance its overall appearance. the parking was limited. there was room for about 5 cars in a road barely wide enough for two large cars to pass.
